After military service, JJ transitioned into high-threat executive protection, spending years assigned to President Donald J. Trump's protection detail in some of the most politically charged environments. He served as Head of Security for Governor Ron DeSantis, leading protective operations, advance work, and crisis response across domestic and international environments.

During this time, JJ led and executed rescues, extractions, and protective operations throughout Latin America, operating in austere, unstable regions where infrastructure is unreliable and mistakes are unforgiving.

Today, JJ serves as Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Black Flag International, leading high-risk protective operations with discipline, accountability, and quiet professionalism.

Dan Simmons

With multiple combat deployments in high-threat environments around the world, Dan built his career where performance matters most. Trauma care under fire, small unit tactics,and mission planning when conditions are unpredictable. He operated in austere, unstable regions executing direct action missions, advanced medical interventions, and crisis response operations.

During this time, Dan led high-risk operations across multiple combat theaters, training partner forces under pressure and executing complex missions where infrastructure is unreliable and mistakes are unforgiving.

Now serving as co-founder of Black Flag International, setting the operational standard for how the company executes protective missions with discipline, accountability, and professionalism.

Hayley Thomas

U.S. Navy veteran and former Master-at-Arms with 7.5 years of service, developed in environments where discipline, accountability, and operational precision are non-negotiable. As a narcotics detection Military Working Dog Handler, she served in high-responsibility roles where attention to detail and execution directly impacted safety and mission success.

Hayley serves as Executive Assistant and Operations Manager for Black Flag International, overseeing executive support, operational organization, and administrative structure behind elite protective services, ensuring internal systems operate with the same professionalism and reliability as the field.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hayley applies both military discipline and strategic business oversight to support high-performance operations with efficiency, structure, and accountability.

Aubrey Christie

Founder of Aubrey Aerials Marketing Corp, a strategic media and branding agency specializing in high-performance and mission-driven organizations. Aubrey leads all marketing, digital presence, and creative direction for Black Flag International as an external partner, ensuring every initiative aligns with the organization's standards of operation and excellence.

Her work spans website development, brand strategy, videography, content production, and digital positioning — ensuring Black Flag's public presence reflects the same professionalism, clarity, and strength demonstrated in the field, translating operational identity into compelling visual and written communication.
